IP65 Is Only the Beginning.
CHAUVET Professional has harnessed over a decade of IP65 and LED engineering mastery to design an unparalled range of lighter, brighter, transformative outdoor fixtures that stand out for way more than being weather proof. We design with a serious focus on performance, consistency, and reliability wherever the tour ends up, so lighting designers and rental houses know what to expect when the rig powers up.
The Widest Range of Uncompromising IP65 Fixtures.

“ When I first saw this fixture in a demo, I was blown away. Every box is checked off on my list for a flexible fixture. ”

Frequently Asked Questions
A complete touring rig integrates fixtures, physical infrastructure, data & power distribution. Fixtures are chosen based on their role, such as moving heads, wash lights, or strobes / blinders. CHAUVET Professional offers tour-grade solutions for every role, from the Maverick, STRIKE and COLORado families to high-impact fixtures like the Color STRIKE M. Robust data distribution is managed by network nodes like the Net-X II, which handles Ethernet-to-DMX conversion and merging. Finally, the rig is supported by essential infrastructure, including power distribution, rigging, and standardized cabling for safe, repeatable deployments.
Build a core floor package that stands on its own in smaller venues, then expand with repeatable truss modules as room size and production scale increase. Assign consistent roles by position, such as floor strobes, side light, mid-truss washes, or downstage profiles, and keep those roles intact as quantities change. Scaling up or down should adjust fixture counts, not redefine positions, so palettes, groups, and effects remain usable. Lock in a disciplined patch strategy with consistent addressing, universes by position, and clear labeling to preserve programming integrity from clubs to festival stages.
DMX is the universal standard for direct fixture control. RDM enhances DMX with two-way communication for remote addressing and status monitoring. For large-scale touring, sACN and Art-Net distribute DMX over standard network infrastructure, which reduces cable runs and simplifies universe management.
Key considerations are viewing distance and on-camera performance. Lower pixel pitch and high refresh rates are critical when the wall serves as a primary visual element or will be frequently filmed. For outdoor and festival tours, prioritize IP-rated panels and features that enable rapid field service, such as front/rear module access. The REM 3IP is an example of a CHAUVET Professional outdoor panel designed for demanding live production environments.
IP65 Done With Intent.
There’s weatherproof, and then there’s built for the road.
If you’re ready for fixtures that care about the full touring experience, not just surviving the rain, it’s time to experience the difference.
