Net-XII is a versatile rack-mountable Ethernet-to-DMX node, which also functions as a merger for two controllers on either Ethernet or DMX inputs. It has the ability to record up to 10 DMX presets, which can be triggered remotely. Net-X II has two 5-pin DMX inputs and eight 5-pin DMX outputs – all optically isolated, and can output up to eight universes simultaneously. The eight 5-pin DMX outputs can be individually assigned to either of the two DMX inputs (or the Ethernet inputs to mix network inputs with DMX inputs in a single device). LTP and HTP merging fully supports network protocols sACN, Art-Net or DMX to merge two incoming controllers to any DMX output. It has RDM over network functionality. Net-X II provides a reliable platform for novice users with its preset configuration library, while providing experts with a highly customizable network infrastructure for complex control systems.

Net-X II FAQ’s
Net-X II is a versatile lighting management tool. Its main job is to act as a bridge, letting you control professional DMX lights using a standard computer network. It also works as a signal splitter, distributing a lighting signal to eight different outputs, and as a merger, allowing you to combine commands from two different lighting controllers.
The device can seamlessly combine signals from two different lighting controllers onto the same lights. You can choose how they merge: one option prioritizes the brightest command, which is great for controlling intensity. The other option uses the most recent command, which is ideal for controlling color or movement. This allows for complex shows with multiple operators or for running a main and a backup controller simultaneously.
Yes, a key feature of the Net-X II is its ability to record and store lighting scenes directly on the device. You can save up to 10 different ‘looks’ from your main controller. These stored scenes can then be triggered later without the controller connected, making it perfect for automated shows, retail displays, or as a simple backup playback system.
