    CHAUVET Professional ÉPIX Fixtures Rock with Luke Bryan

    Once again, CHAUVET Professional performs flawlessly in a high-profile tour: 130  ÉPIX Strip and 16 ÉPIX Bar fixtures are used for their pixel-mapping abilities in the vivacious design for Luke Bryan’s Dirt Road Diaries Tour 2013. The ÉPIX Strip and ÉPIX Bar lights have an imposing effect above a video wall on stage and above the audience from a square-shaped truss. The CHAUVET Professional lights were controlled via ArKaos Kling-Net protocol, for fast and easy assignment. Here are some great shots:

    Nexus 4×4 Spins with C2C in France

    French turntable group C2C recently performed in Dijon, lit by 12 CHAUVET Professional Nexus 4×4 pixel-mapping fixtures. The lights were mostly used as audience blinders and were the most powerful on stage, designed by Cyssous and Cyril Prat. C2C won the Disco Mix Club World Team DJ Championship four years in a row, 2003–2006, and also won the ITF team championship in 2006.

    CHAUVET Professional Lights Serenade at the Troubadour

    The popular Troubadour Club in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, entertains crowds with talented performers and quality lighting provided by Chauvet. Artists and bands such as Elton John, Guns’n’roses, No Doubt, Metallica and more started their careers at the Troubadour. Chauvet lights include six CHAUVET Professional Legend 412 pixel-mapping moving yokes, four COLORado Batten 72 Tour linear lights, four Q-Spot 560-LED moving spots, four COLORado Zoom Tour wash lights and more.

    MVP 18 Video Panels Groovy on The Groove Cruise

    The Groove Cruise experience got hotter with the addition of 162 CHAUVET Professional MVP 18 video panels, used at the beach, on the pool deck and at the Stardust Theater, on the Norwegian Sky ship of Norwegian Cruise Line. Operations Manager for Advanced Concert Productions Collyns Stenzel specified the gear and designed all stages, while  Production manager Tim Cabral ran the production coordination. Jason Buekema is the person behind The Groove Cruise, created for dance music aficionados and to bring together the world’s best dance music artists.

    CHAUVET Professional Lights ‘Wipeout’ Reality TV Show

    About 200 CHAUVET Professional fixtures from the COLORado series of wash lights brighten up the elaborate outdoor set of “Wipeout” reality game show. Contestants have to compete in what is billed as the world’s largest obstacle course, which is now lit by 100 COLORado 1-Tri IP lights and 86 COLORado 1-Quad IP and  COLORado 1-Quad Tour fixtures.

    CHAUVET Professional Beaming at SIEL Show in Paris

    Chauvet displayed a variety of LED fixtures with French distributor Algam at the SIEL trade show in Paris, Feb. 4-6. CHAUVET Professional lights included six Legend 230 SR Beam moving yokes on center circle trussing, 16 PVP S5 high-definition video panels on each sides of the center round trussing, 18 MVP 12 video panels with three screens of different lengths handing on each side of the stand, four Q-Wash 436Z-LED and six Q-Wash 560Z-LED wash lights, six Legend 412 pixel-mapping moving yokes, Ovation E-190WW and Ovation F-165WW theatrical fixtures, COLORdash Par-Quad 7, COLORado 4 IP linear wash light, COLORado Zoom WW Tour, COLORado 1-Quad Tour, COLORado 1 Tour and COLORado 2 Tour fixtures.

    CHAUVET Professional Lights at the Royal Society of Medicine

    CHAUVET Professional COLORado Zoom Tour wash lights are part of an upgrade in the new lecture theatre at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, UK. Specified and installed by Northern Lights lighting company, six COLORado Zoom Tour fixtures are used as backlights on stage. “We love the control we have over the LEDs, especially being able to change color without fixing gels and to create color washes at a moment’s notice for our clients,” said Kevin McLoughlin, Audio Visual Manager at the Royal Society of Medicine. “Any saving in energy costs is always a positive thing, when we are endeavoring to make the building as environmentally friendly as possible. And although not huge, is definitely a step in the right direction. We do aim to upgrade our lighting in other lecture theatres over the next couple of years.”

    CHAUVET Professional Gets the Party Going at Graduate Ball

    Graduates at the University of Derby, in the U.K., partied under the light of 42 CHAUVET Professional fixtures. Thirty MVP 12 high-resolution video panels, six Legend 412 pixel-mapping moving yokes and six Q-Wash 560Z-LED wash lights, all owned by the university, created a fiery atmosphere and kept the party going all night long.

     

    CHAUVET Professional Demos Lights at New York Seminar

    CHAUVET Professional demoed fixtures from the Ovation line of theatrical luminaires and from the COLORado series of wash lights at the eighth annual Stage Lighting Super Saturday seminar, presented by Sonny Sonnenfeld and Scott C. Parker Jan. 26, in New York City. Stage Lighting Designers Ken Billington and Richard Pilbrow made interesting and Illuminating presentations that engaged the audience.
