VIP Drive 83R Nova FAQ’s
The VIP Drive 83R Nova is an all-in-one video processor that simplifies your LED video wall setup. It combines a video switcher, wall mapper, and long-distance fiber transmitter into one compact device, reducing the need for extra equipment. It takes your video source and correctly displays it across your Novastar video panels.
It makes setup fast and intuitive with an on-screen display that visually guides you. The system can automatically detect connected panels and provides a live on-screen overlay to help you map your wall’s layout correctly, even while video is playing. You can configure most walls directly from the unit without a computer.
It is used to control and manage professional LED video walls for events, installations, and broadcasts. It accepts common video inputs like HDMI and SDI, and its synchronization feature (Genlock) allows multiple units to work together for very large or complex video systems. It also includes fiber optic outputs for sending video reliably over long distances.
